WebJul 25, 2024 · The problem that you are experiencing is caused by the fact that HP in not adding Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) to their BIOS/UEFI. They use the standard JEDEC's. The standard speed of all memory modules is 2133 MHz. Therefore, you will not be able to overclock your new memory to 3200 MHz. WebOct 25, 2024 · 10-25-2024 01:56 AM. Remember to double the reported clock rate for DDR - double data rate - RAM. CPU-Z is reporting DDR3-2133 just as you expect. Jeff.
