That's what my manual told me...so it's not based on the real need to do any maintenance, it's just a dummy light to make people remember once in a while. Webindicator will light for 2 seconds when you first turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and then flash for 10 seconds. If you exceed 10,000 miles (16,000 km) without having the scheduled maintenance performed, this light will remain on as a constant reminder. Your dealer will reset this indicator after completing the scheduled maintenance.
