WebDec 19, 2024 · According to court documents, Honeywell UOP entered into a three-year deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) with the department in connection with a criminal information filed in the Southern District of Texas charging the company with conspiracy to violate the anti-bribery provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). WebA DPA is an agreement whereby a prosecutor and corporate defendant can settle certain types of criminal cases, including for corruption. The company agrees to be charged but the criminal proceedings are immediately stayed upon entry into the DPA.
